Nestled in Ayden, North Carolina is a place that many may not know even exists. Simply Natural Creamery is a Jersey Cow farm run by the Moye family. The cows are kept on-site and are provided with a natural environment. They are free to roam fields and gaze naturally causing them to provide a naturally stronger milk.
The milk created at this farm is used in a variety of products from your traditional drinking milk to over 30 unique flavors of ice cream. These flavors include Cow Pattie, chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips, and Reese’s cups. As well as Banana Pudding and other traditional flavors.
When visiting the farm, you can see first-hand what goes on at the farm with a tour that includes a wagon ride, a view of the lounging barn, a view of the milking barn, and even get the chance to pet some of the newest Jersey cows! These tours are $12 per person to attend and run at 9, 12, and 2 pm.
Other fun and unique opportunities that you can partake in as a part of the farm are having your child’s next birthday party there or even allowing them to attend day camp.
Or stop in to visit one of the most recent additions to the farm Dairyland. Dairyland is open 7 days a week and is $6 per child to play. Enjoy so many fun things outside of the playground that are free to enjoy for all visitors. A jumping pillow and pipe slide are just a few things that your child can enjoy when visiting this part of the dairy. Don’t worry if you are unable to attend the farm the dairy not only provides its milk and ice cream to local stores it does currently have two other locations one in Greenville NC and one in Morehead City NC. With a brand-new location opening in Wilson NC Later this year.
